I ran around last night trying to find a 'swing' to photograph, until my wife suggested I shoot our parrot. His name is Buttons and he's about 12 years old. Sometimes he can be a right pain (like immitating a telephone ring as you're leaving the house, causing you to run back inside) and other times he can be very sweet (like barking at our dogs!) Either way he is definitely a VERY big part of the family.

What a darling shot. I especially like his coloring. My neighbors have a parrot like this (he's one eyed & his name is Pepper!)
